Privacy Policy

Effective April 18, 2026 · Last updated April 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how deadlockboosting.gg ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information we process in connection with the website at https://deadlockboosting.gg and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Policy applies to information we process as a data controller and, where applicable, as a data processor. It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Information We Process

We process the following categories of personal information:

  • Order information: starting rank, desired rank, mode (Duo or Piloted), region, estimated wins, and Order price — provided by you on the order page.
  • Contact information: email address, collected by Stripe during checkout and transmitted to us upon successful payment.
  • Payment information: full card numbers, CVV, and expiration dates are collected and processed exclusively by Stripe; we store only a Stripe Checkout Session identifier and a Payment Intent identifier in order to reconcile and administer Orders.
  • Valve Account credentials (Piloted Mode only): Steam username, password, and any multi-factor authentication codes you voluntarily provide through our designated encrypted order channel, retained for the minimum period necessary to deliver the Boost and deleted no later than seven (7) days after Order completion, refund, or cancellation.
  • Communications: messages you send to support, to Boosters, or in Order-specific channels (including Discord coordination channels we operate).
  • Technical information: IP address, device identifiers, user-agent string, referring URL, timestamps, and similar information automatically logged by our servers and content-delivery providers.
  • Cookies and local storage: strictly-necessary cookies used for session management, CSRF protection, and checkout. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

2. Sources of Information

We obtain personal information directly from you (order-form submissions, communications, credentials you provide), from Stripe (payment-related information), from your browser (technical information), and from Discord (coordination-channel metadata, if you participate).

3. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing

We process personal information for the following purposes. Where the European Economic Area ("EEA"), United Kingdom, or similar data-protection regimes apply, the applicable legal basis under Article 6 of the GDPR is identified in parentheses:

  • To provide, administer, and deliver the Service and Orders you request (performance of a contract);
  • To process payments and prevent fraud (performance of a contract; legitimate interests);
  • To respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about Orders, refunds, and service updates (performance of a contract; legitimate interests);
  • To detect, investigate, and prevent abuse, breach of the Terms, and unauthorized access (legitimate interests);
  • To comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations (legal obligation);
  • To defend and establish legal claims (legitimate interests);
  • To analyze Service performance in aggregate, non-identifying form (legitimate interests).

4. Disclosures of Information

We share personal information only with the following categories of recipients and only to the extent necessary:

  • Service providers (processors): Stripe (payments), Neon / Amazon Web Services (database hosting), Vercel (application hosting and edge delivery), and Discord (booster coordination channels), each acting pursuant to a contract that requires appropriate safeguards;
  • Boosters: limited Order details (rank range, region, mode, and relevant contact identifiers) required to deliver the Boost;
  • Professional advisors: attorneys, accountants, and auditors, under duties of confidentiality;
  • Corporate transaction counterparties: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets;
  • Government authorities and law enforcement: when required by valid legal process or to protect rights, property, or safety.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

5. International Transfers

We process personal information in the United States and in other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Where personal information is transferred out of the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland to a country not deemed to provide an adequate level of protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards (including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses) and, as applicable, supplementary measures.

6. Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary:

  • Order records: three (3) years from Order completion, for tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, and regulatory purposes;
  • Valve Account credentials: no later than seven (7) days after Order completion, refund, or cancellation;
  • Communications: up to one (1) year, or longer if relevant to a dispute or legal claim;
  • Server logs: up to thirty (30) days;
  • Aggregate analytics data: indefinitely in a form that does not identify you.

After the applicable retention period, we delete or anonymize the relevant information, unless a longer period is required by law or is necessary to enforce the Terms.

7. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include TLS encryption in transit, access controls, logging, least-privilege permissions, secure storage of Valve Account credentials, and segregation of payment data on Stripe's PCI-DSS-certified infrastructure. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure; we therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights Under GDPR, UK GDPR, and Swiss DPA
